Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Missing Pet in Mexican Territory to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh football star Ramsey has raised the bounty for leads concerning the missing dog named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently represents Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that Halo was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news about our pet Halo kindly contact us. Substantial bounty for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return to our side quickly," Ramsey shared on social media.
Initial Offer and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey initially announced that his dog had disappeared two weeks ago and has since uploaded numerous pictures of the cherished pet on Instagram.
A £7.5k incentive was initially offered, but with absence of information on Halo's location after a seven days, the player and his loved ones raised the sum.
"We just want Halo back," he expressed in another plea on his online platforms after the decade-old pet disappeared.
A recent picture upload is a monochrome photo of the beagle snoozing, her head lying in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "How I wish to hold you again Halo."
Family's Concerns and Context
The footballer has also shared a message from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have some "pressing concerns" surrounding the incident and fear the family "might not get explanations".
"To this day we haven't found Halo. I fear we ever will," his wife's message expressed.
The Wales leader became part of Mexico's top-flight club Club Universidad Nacional recently and made his first appearance in Liga MX in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the initial high profile UK player to play in the Mexican league.
